Ronde Tafel "BOM"

Ronde tafel is georganiseerd in samenwerking met BOM (Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij) over het thema "Energy Efficiency in Business" in Tilburg.

Thank you for attending the round table at the BOM on Wednesday, October 3rd 2018, on the theme “Energy efficiency in Business”.

We would like to thank Victoria Vasjuta, Project Manager Foreign Investments, Mathieu Pasquier, Senior Project Manager Foreign Investments and Linda van Hilten, Development Manager Renewable Energy for welcoming us in their office in Tilburg.

BOM works together with entrepreneurs to create a strong sustainable and future-proof Brabant economy. They share knowledge, create networks, and provide capital funding to innovative Brabant companies and sustainable energy. BOM also incentivize innovative foreign companies to establish operations in Brabant and assist Brabant-based companies to develop their businesses abroad.

It is from this perspective that the round table has been organized, to discuss and exchange on how BOM co-operates with companies in developing, financing, realising and operating energy efficiency projects to reduce the carbon footprint of companies.

After a short presentation of each participant at the round table, Mathieu Pasquier, Senior Project Manager Foreign Investments gave a presentation of the BOM. After that, Linda van Hilten, Development Manager Renewable Energy, presented us how BOM renewable energy provides expertise, financing and access to a wide network to develop and implement sustainability projects. And we concluded on an interactive round table discussion about saving energy.

All the participants where very pleased with the format which enable them to share in a small group and afterwards interact with each other during a nice cocktail.

In view of the great interest in this issue shown by the participants at the round table, the Chamber intend to organize more events like this one on the highly topical issues of energy transition.
