Caisse d'Épargne Nederland completes its first financing operation in the Netherlands
Caisse d'Épargne Nederland completes its first financing deal in the Netherlands with agricultural cooperative Royal Avebe.
This operation, amounting to a total of €460 million, marks a significant milestone for the bank, which has been present in the Dutch market since 2024. For this transaction, Caisse d'Épargne Nederland joined a consortium of major banks operating in the Netherlands to support the development of Royal Avebe.
Royal Avebe is a cooperative of around 2,000 farmers based in the Netherlands and Germany. Every year, their starch potatoes are processed into high-value ingredients derived from potato starch and protein, which are used in food production as well as a wide range of industrial applications worldwide.
"This first transaction marks a key step for our bank. Six months after launching our commercial activities, we are proving our ability to support the financing of major Dutch companies," says Derk Graver, Head of Caisse d’Épargne Nederland.
As a branch of Caisse d'Épargne Hauts de France, Caisse d'Épargne Nederland benefits from the full expertise of Groupe BPCE, enabling it to offer comprehensive and tailored financial solutions to both Dutch and Franco-Dutch businesses.
Congratulations to the entire team for this strong debut in the Netherlands!
