Avertim | Covid 19 - its socio-economic impact & journey to vaccination

Our worlds have been turned upside down in the last year with the global COVID-19 pandemic. With vaccines being rolled out globally, there is light at the end of the tunnel! Questions that have arisen are: ‘Is a vaccine that has been developed so rapidly safe?’, ‘How is the distribution being handled to ensure everyone has access to it?’, and ‘What has been the impact of COVID-19 on different industries and on the individual?’.  

On June 8th Avertim talked about the impact of COVID-19 on different industries, globally but also in the Netherlands specifically. 

Banking and energy sector were mentioned as well as the impact and consequences for businesses and individual consumers. Additionally, they offered a crash course on vaccine development, approval, and distribution, and details on the current state of the vaccination campaign in the Netherlands.
