Nieuw Bedrijfslid : Economic Development Agency of Corsica (ADEC)
The Economic Development Agency of Corsica is an EPIC (Public Establishment with Industrial and Commercial character). ADEC implements the economic policy of the Corsican Community (Specific Status Community).
ADEC, within the framework of the international development policy of the companies of Corsica decided to install a V.I.E. (International Volunteer in Companie) at the service of all the companies and the sectors of Corsica in the person of Benjamin PONS (in charge of international prospection zone BENELUX). It is established to be a partner of the CCI France Netherlands and to create a link between the Corsican companies and the Dutch companies in the field of Export and Invest in different sectors.
The headquarters of the ADEC is based in Ajaccio and the V.I.E. carries out its mission in the offices of the Antenna of the Corsican Community in Brussels (36 rue Breydel B-1000 Brussels).
The missions of V.I.E.:
- Strengthen the prospection of ADEC and island companies in BENELUX.
- Guarantee the ADEC and governance bodies of the internationalization policy implemented by the Corsican Community, in particular the Council for the Development of Internationalization of the Territory in the Economic Area (CODITE), regular contextual elements and market analyzes for identified priority sectors (primarily agri-food, wine & spirits, digital, blue economy, green economy, arts and crafts and silver economy).
- Become a "country" reference for ADEC and companies / operators interested in the markets covered by the V.I.E.
- Provide a continuous flow of information on European policies impacting export, economic attractiveness or cooperation.
- Participate in any initiative of interest, also preparing the coming of his referent. Organize its activities around several aspects: export / attractiveness of the territory / cooperation.
