Founded in 1907, Petit Forestier, a family-owned company headquartered in France, is Europe’s leader in refrigerated rental and aims to become a global leader in the sector. The cold chain is our passion and we focus exclusively on it. Through a full-service model, the Group delivers refrigerated vehicles, display units and containers, combining equipment, maintenance and operational support to protect temperature-sensitive products for sectors such as food, healthcare and logistics.
In the Netherlands, where Petit Forestier has operated since 1999, the Group runs vehicle and container activities. The market is particularly favorable for developing and deploying alternative-energy vehicles and related services, while the container division coordinates refrigerated container deliveries across Europe and prepares modular container assemblies, creating flexible refrigerated surfaces for customers.
Petit Forestier’s Industry division designs, manufactures and assembles refrigerated boxes for vehicles, continuously innovating with partners and suppliers to reduce the environmental impact of our solutions.
The Group is driven by sustainable growth, is ECOVADIS-rated, a UN Global Compact member and committed to a science-based low-carbon trajectory (SBTi), with objectives to be validated in the coming months. In a CO₂-intensive sector, Petit Forestier focuses on reducing its footprint while helping customers transition to more sustainable cold chain solutions.
