OUR SPEAKERS

 

 

Alain Camonier (1968) is founder and joint owner of Pallas Attorneys-at-Law, a boutique law firm, with offices in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, specialized in international employment law and worker’s participation law.

In addition to his work as attorney-at-law, Alain frequently teaches the topic employment law and worker’s participation law at various educational institutes amongst others at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam (teacher international employment law).

Alain published various articles on the subject employment law and worker’s participation law in e.g. daily newspapers and professional employment law literature.

 

 

Michelle Maaijen (1990) is a senior attorney-at-law at Pallas Attorneys-at-Law, a boutique law firm based in Amsterdam and Rotterdam that specializes in (international) employment law and worker’s participation law. Michelle advises and litigates in the field of employment law issues, including employment contract law, (drafting) company policies, (collective) dismissal law, international employment law and the legal position of (statutory) directors. Michelle gives presentations and training courses about employment law on a regular basis and also publishes in the Dutch Magazine “HR Rendement” and other professional employment law literature about various employment law topics. In addition Michelle contributed to HR Rendement's book "Foreign Situations" in which she wrote the chapter on international labor law. A full publication list is available upon request.
