TV5 Monde - La piste de la francophonie

Troughout 18 destinations, the aim remains the same: to mark in a spectacular way the french-speaking presence in the world,
along with shining a light on the French language, its influence, its story, its prospects, its successes and, on a broader level, the
multiple cultures sharing the values of the "francophonie".

While "Le Tour du Monde de la Francophonie" was a 25-hour live programme during which the viewers watched a round-the-world trip in
the opposite way of Earth's spin, "La Piste" will make them discover 18 large cities from the french-speaking world, during a 20-hour live
broadcast.

Nouméa - Bangkok - Paris - Beijing - Yerevan - Athens - Bamako - Dakar - Porto-Novo - Brussels - Kigali - Yaoundé - Casablanca - Cairo - Tunis - Lausanne - Fort-de-France - Montreal

In each of the cities, the programme will be jointly hosted by a TV5MONDE journalist and a journalist from the local partner channel. They
will both put the spotlight on french-speaking personalities and talents from the destination they will be in. These guests will come from the cultural, artistic, scientific and academic world, or even from the political arena.

Depending on the topics covered, discussions, stories and artistic performances will punctuate the sets.
This live special programme will be launched on the 26th of September on every TV5MONDE channel, as well as on its website and social media.
Once the programme ended, viewers will be able to see the highlights of the show again thanks to two best-of compilations of 52 and 90
minutes each, both subtitled.
