10 ways to develop your French

Here are our tips for progress for all ages and profiles. Native French speakers or lovers of our French language, children or professionals, we have you covered.

 

1️⃣ Follow an intensive French course

2️⃣ Brush up your French with our booster and conversation courses

Those classes are held during the day in small group settings so that you can make the most of your time.

On-site:
For A1.2 & A2.1 &A2.2 on Monday 13.00-14.30
For B1.1 & B1.2 on Tuesday 13.00-14.30
For B2.1 & B2.2 & C1 on Thursday 13.00-14.30

 

3️⃣ or level up with our General French courses

Study with the latest and most up-to-date manuals (included in the price) for a interactive French course.

Day time:
A1.1 (total beginner) | A1.2 (false beginner)
A2.1 and A2.2 or B1.1 and B2.2
 

Evening:
for total beginners (A1.1): Monday  or Thursday
for False beginners (A1.2): Tuesday  or Wednesday
A2.1: Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday
A2.2: Wednesday or Thursday
B1.1: Tuesday or Wednesday
B1.2: Monday
B2.1: Monday
C1: Thursday

 

4️⃣ Tackle your fear of speaking in French with theatre teachers with our signature course: 'Français en action'

Come and practice with our drama teacher and learn how to better deal with everyday events and unexpected situations in French-speaking countries.
 

For A levels: Thursday 20:15-21:45
For B levels: Thursday 20:15-21:45

Online: for A levels on Wednesday and B levels on Monday

We start from the age of 3 months (accompanied by an adult). It is never too early to learn a new language.

For native and non-native French speakers
From 3 months old, Wednesday, 10:00 – 10:50 [7/9-30/11]
From 3 months old, Friday, 10:00 – 10:50 [9/9-2/12]

French as a foreign language for children
From 3 y/o Saturday 11:40 – 12:40
From 5 y/oSaturday 9:30 – 10:20 [10/9-10/12]
From 8 y/o Monday 16:15 - 17:15
From 13 y/o (level 2) Saturday 10:30 – 11:30

8️⃣ Have the undivided attention of an experienced teacher

All our courses are for a maximum of 8 participants, ideal for making friends and practising the language.

For native speakers:
Children born in 2014-2016, Saturday 11:40-12:40
Children born in 2017-2019, Saturday 9:30 – 10:20

First steps to reading – from 5 y/o Tuesday 15:45 – 16:35 OR Friday 16:45– 17:45
 Introduction to Reading & Writing-from 7 y/o Tuesday 15:45 – 16:45 OR Wednesday 16:30 – 17:30
Deepening Reading & Writing (level 2), from 7 y/o,Monday, 16:15 – 17:15 or Saturday 10:30 – 11:30
Advanced Reading & Writing – from 7 y/o, Thursday 16.45 – 17.45
Writing in French – from 12 y/o, Monday 16:15 – 17:15

 

9️⃣ Socialise in French

There are so many opportunities to practice French outside the classroom.

Join the Amsterdam Language Café (you can practice all languages). The next French meeting is on 28 September, native speakers are welcome and receive a free drink!
