Emmy Stoel, General Manager of the Sofitel Amsterdam Earns Top 100 Best Hotel General Manager Title for 2023

Emmy Stoel, General Manager of the Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, has been awarded a prestigious place in the Top 100 Best Hotel General Managers for 2023 by the Luxury Lifestyle Awards! This prize celebrates and promotes the best luxury goods and services all over the world.

After graduating from the Hotel Management School Maastricht and earning a GMP from Cornell University, she started working in 1989 at Hotel de Anredshoeve. In the years that followed, she took on different management roles at Hilton and Hotel Okura Amsterdam, serving as the general manager for six successful years.

Since 2019, Emmy has been successfully leading the way as the General Manager of the Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, a prestigious five-stars hotel, located at the heart of the city of Amsterdam. 

This promising leadership had already earned recognition earlier this year from the EHMA (European Hotel Managers Association), making her the winner of the prestigious 'European Hotel Manager of the Year’!
