Women's Day Lunch 2026 | Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam
On 5 March, we celebrated our annual Women’s Day Lunch at the magnificent Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam with Jolanda Stevens as speaker.
For this 19th edition, our keynote speaker, Jolanda Stevens – Director Future of Travel & Innovation Transformation at KLM – delivered an inspiring keynote on innovation, sustainability and feminism, and how these forces are shaping the aviation industry toward greater diversity and environmental responsibility.
With an impressive 25-year career as a pilot at KLM, Jolanda has accumulated extensive experience both in the cockpit and in several ground-based roles focused on safety culture and training. She later transitioned to the role of Director of Crisis Management before taking on her current position, where she leads the Future of Travel Team.
During her talk, Jolanda shared the challenges she faced as one of the few women pilots in a sector largely dominated by men. She fought her way up to become a respected figure in her field and within KLM. Today, she continues to work towards a more sustainable future for the aviation industry.
