Bernaches Awards: discover the winners!
Once again, this year, the Bernaches Awards shine the spotlight on the outstanding projects led by Accor’s people in 2022.
In anticipation of the awards ceremony in early July, discover now the initiatives rewarded for this new edition!
For over 30 years, Accor has aimed to acknowledge employees who have distinguished themselves individually or as part of a team, in the various brands or departments around the world, through outstanding results or extraordinary achievements. Accor is proud to reward those who surpass themselves and achieve the exceptional while facing the daily challenges of a transforming world and evolving Group. Whether individual or collective, in hotels or head offices, our employees' successes deserve to be honored!
The previous edition had already attracted a lot of interest, despite a 2-year hiatus in the program, but this year, the Bernaches Awards broke all records with 166 applications received. This enthusiasm sends out a clear message: our Heartists are not short of ideas to improve the customer experience or to innovate in their practices, and they want to make it known!
Of all the submissions received, 52 were shortlisted and defended by the T&C managers of each brand, region or branch. The jury, composed of 15 members from all over the world and with different professional expertise within Accor, then deliberated and rewarded 24 projects, among which 3 individual projects and 21 collectives.
The 2022 awards crown the Group's unwavering commitment to performance and excellence. Employees who have recently joined the Group will discover the Bernaches Awards, which highlight team spirit and a sense of initiative. It’s also an opportunity to take a closer look at the skills that Accor puts in the limelight and, through them, the values that the Group’s 40 or so brands and more than 5,000 hotels share.
The excellence of our hotel food & beverage services, the protection of biodiversity, an innovative employee training concept, the inclusion of people with disabilities and the revamping of our financial performance analysis software are just some of the projects that deserve to be in the spotlight.
In addition to the recognition for their outstanding achievements and their contribution to the group's progress, the 126 winners will receive, along with their trophy, a stay in an Accor hotel of their choice, including transportation. Congratulations to them!
