Aperi'Tech

Aperi'Tech for the French-Dutch tech & startup community at Philips Center in Amsterdam.

Thank you for attending Aperi’Tech on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at Philips Center, this closing cocktail of the French Tech Days Amsterdam hosted by Philips Center meets each year more and more success. The French Tech Days Amsterdam aim at bringing together French innovative mid-stage start-ups to discover the Dutch market and accelerate their business development by meeting potentials partners or clients.

Such a success could not have happened without Philips HealthWorks. They support several French startups in launching their products, which is strengthening the relationships between French and Dutch tech companies.

This is exactly what Kors van Wyngaarden, Medical Officer HealthWorks at Philips, highlighted during his speech. For now 125 years, Philips is leading the innovation worldwide in both personal and professional healthcare, reason why they have built the Philips HealthWork Startup program. Its aim is to foster partnerships between large companies and startups and to remain at the cutting edge of innovation.

Such a spirit has been illustrated by Antonin Marcault, Innovation & New Business Development Manager at Philips, who introduced the new collaboration between Philips and Capdecisif Management. This partnership aims at investing in early stage innovation companies according to Baudoin Hue, Investment Director at Capdecisif, in order to foster breakthrough in Health sector by combining strengths.

Besides, two other companies supported by Philips have been presented.
David Caumartin, CEO, gave a speech about Theraclion, a French company specialised in high-tech medical equipment using therapeutic ultrasounds. It designs and commercializes an innovative echotherapy solution named Echopulse.

Then Anna Garrec, COO, introduced Biomodex which fabricates life-like organs from the medical images of the patients and 3D printers for medical training and pre-operation preparation. All in all, both of the two companies are acting towards the improvement of the Health sector.

We would like to thank Kors van Wyngaarden for having welcomed us in the modern offices of Philips Center in Amsterdam.

We also would like to give a special thanks to Bastien Faugeroux for the great collaboration between Business France and the CCI.

Finally, we would like to thank the French Tech ambassadors, Yann Toutant, Mathieu Kahn and Myléna Pierremont, and all the participants for making this cocktail a success.
