Sales Manager Benelux – Germany

Would you like to join the vegetable proteins revolution?

In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow the business in the Benelux region and Germany.

You will work for a French company with 3 production sites, and be based in its Dutch plant near Apeldoorn.

Your clients are agri-food companies and you work with them to provide plant-based gourmet, healthy and sustainable food to their consumers.

What will you do?

You will be a business developer and an account manager. You will grow sales and profitability in your region.

Your clients are food manufacturers: baked goods, cereals, ready meals, pasta, pet food, nutrition, etc. And you will be on the road visiting them at least 3 days a week. Or rather, you’ll be at the office one day a week and the rest is up to you, but be prepared to travel.

Reporting, business intelligence, and project-based activities are also part of your missions. You will be working with customers to tailor-make solutions for their needs and be their advocate within the company.

Who are we looking for?

Of course, a technical background in food production would be appreciated but we’re more interested in your sales experience in the agri-food sector.
You can work in Dutch, English, and German, and French would be nice to have.
 

Organization

You will report to the Sales Director and be working regularly with the sales back office, customer service coordinator, marketing and purchasing department, and on specific topics with the quality, R&D, production, and logistics departments.

This is a human size, tight-knit company: 30 employees in France, 17 in the Netherlands, member of the largest French agri-cooperative (22000 exploitations). 

What we offer

Company car, phone and laptop and a salary around 4500 gross/month (it’s a starting point for a conversation) and a bonus based on results.
