Project manager / Accountmanager

Missions

• Managing a portfolio of customer projects

• Obtaining highest possible customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up and actions while insuring fulfillment of all tasks and KPI’s related to the assigned projects

 

Tasks and activities

• Manage, control and communicate the schedule, scope and delivery of each project including:

- Create and maintain pilot & rollout project plans

- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

- Facilitate and drive ongoing project meetings

- Ensure that the individual customer KPI’s are reached and generally insure high quality and proactive follow-up.

- Continuous customer contact throughout the pilot installations and rollouts including on-site visits in-store.

- Coordinate the technical installation by acting in-between technical project management of the Partner and when needed technical project management in France and the customer.

- Coordinate deliveries and pro-active delivery follow-up on pilots and rollout projects in close cooperation with Sales and Logistics in France.

- Answer first level technical & operation related questions from the customer/partner

 

Secondary missions: 

- To participate in sales phase representing the project management and the solution

- Defining the individual customer KPI’s together with Account Executives

Required qualifications:

- Engineering education

- Strong personal drive and ability to work proactively and independently

- Experience in retail business, ideally in The Netherlands

- Experience in project management

- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills

- Fluently speaking and writing in English and Dutch.

Work conditions

- This position is based in the Amsterdam. 

- Frequent travel is required, mainly to customers – and once a month or every two months to Paris for reporting & knowledge sharing.  Estimated 50% of working days, 30-50 overnight stays per year.
