Key Account Manager – Netherlands (and Northern Europe)

Our client is a company based in France and Singapore, with transdisciplinary expertise in IT, data science, and thermal engineering. 
They offer innovative services of optimal remote predictive control 24/7 and support to operation & maintenance to help industrial and tertiary customers increase the energy efficiency and performance of their HVAC-R systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration). 
Their solutions allow their customers to effectively reduce their carbon footprint and save up to 40% on their energy bills by anticipating weather and building activity.

Job description :

As a Key Account Manager for the Netherlands and Northern Europe, you will work under the Sales Director, and in interaction with the technical experts and the Marketing team. Your primary responsibilities will be to:
• Develop sales by building and developing your portfolio and winning new customers by identifying and hunting targets ranging from managers of tertiary buildings up to large industrial accounts.
• Conduct visits to customer sites and evaluate the feasibility of projects with the help of technical experts.
• Build tailor-made offers and conduct negotiations until contracts are signed.
• Manage customer relations and account development, and collect information on market developments, needs & customer feedback.
• Participate in various professional events to increase the brand visibility and establish new partnerships.

Job requirements :

Education: Master's level (techno-economic).
Minimum experience: First successful experience in service sales in B2B, with good knowledge of the industrial landscape in the Netherlands.
Travel : 2 to 3 days a week, in the Netherlands and Europe. 

Required skills :

• Fluency in English and Dutch, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of another European language is a plus.
• A strong sense of challenge and a result-oriented character.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for sustainability.
