Finance Director Holding Basafi / Iris Parc

Iris Parc is a chain of campsites with its head-office located in Amsterdam. We are a sister company of Vacansoleil, the European market leader in camping holidays. Iris Parc already owns several campsites in France and Luxembourg and is looking to expand into a European chain of campsites in the coming years

The Director Finance is, in close cooperation with the Managing Director responsible for the preparation and implementation of the financial policy, the drafting of the budget, the financial analysis, the provision of reports, the audit of the administrative organization and the operational financial management of the company.  You also take care of the tax returns and tax audits in the Netherlands and abroad. You report to the Managing Director. The location is Amsterdam. You travel regularly to, among others, France and Luxembourg as well as to Eindhoven (Vacansoleil's office).

As Director Finance at Iris Parc, you have five result areas in terms of tasks and responsibilities in close collaboration with the Managing Director and the shareholder:

 
Budget and policy

  • You determine the financial and administrative policy.
  • You are responsible for preparing the (long-term) budget, the financial monthly, quarterly and annual reports and all other relevant financial documents such as management reports and liquidity forecasts for both internal and external parties.
  • You calculate the profitability and feasibility of possible acquisitions and expansion investments
  • You are the contact for the banks for the day-to-day operation and the overall financing of the activities of Iris Parc


Financial analysis

  • You prepare and analyze financial reports.
  • You advise on financial decisions on the basis of reports.
  • You provide insight into the company's financial key figures such as turnover, costs, margin, liquidity, solvency and cash flow.
  • You are responsible for group consolidations, year end closing and audit.


Control of the effective administrative organization

  • Compliance with the financial policy.
  • You conduct an effective treasury policy.
  • You organize and supervise a correct financial administration and sub-administrations, inform the management and management and support and inspire them with regard to departmental budgets, results and reports.
  • You carry out internal audits annually.


Leadership

  • You will manage an assistant controller in Amsterdam and the financial SSC in France (3 FTE) where the financial administration and payroll of the operating companies is done. You will also regularly interact with the administration of the sister company in Eindhoven.
  • Your style of management is involved and with the spirit of a close-knit team where you also roll up your sleeves.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in a similar job.
  • Managerial experience
  • At least a higher vocational education or university degree in business economics and / or accountancy, preferably supplemented with a controllers degree.
  • Experience in the area of ​​treasury and risk management.
  • Able to guide change processes in a growing organization.
  • Internationally experienced. You speak besides Dutch and English , preferably also French and   German
  • Experience in the leisure industry is an advantage.
  • Prepared to travel regularly within Europe.
