Area sales manager – West Netherlands and Brabant

This position is a great opportunity for a dynamic business developer, attracted by new technologies, and willing to be part of a company which grows rapidly. This company offers innovative solutions which dramatically improve tenants’ life by increasing their security and comfort. The purpose of this role is to promote these solutions to specifiers in The Netherlands. There is a pipeline of business so the role itself will consist of account management of existing customers and generating new business from warm leads.

This Area Sales Manager role will be office based in Amsterdam (20%) and field based (80%). Trips to the head office in France must be considered (2/year), including 2 weeks of integration and training.

An internal sales representative will be attributed and promotional activities will be organised to support the Area Manager’s activity and make a team of 2 for the geographical area.

 

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

  • Achieve set volume/price and identified sales targets as detailed in the business plan.
  • Manage communication of area pricing and quotations to agreed company procedure.
  • Deliver customer value by establishing and maintaining good customer relations and effectively responding to queries and complaints.
  • Optimise new sales by being better connected through a collaborative approach in relationships with current and potential customers and clients.
  • Ensure Company policy, procedure and reporting mechanisms are fully utilised.
  • KPIs: number of calls, meetings and information communicated (new contacts, projects to follow up, prescriber network, etc.)

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in client relationship and business development is a must
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience working with prescribers and answering public tenders is preferred
  • Openness to innovation, strong interpersonal skills, pro-active and decision-making abilities
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Full NL driving licence
  • Team player
  • Fluent Dutch, English, French is an asset.
